holiday

24 December - 5 January 2014 is holiday, I am very happy because the holiday was enough to make a break from studying at school sman 3 bandung, I went with the family to grandma's house in Cirebon, before leaving our family in preparation for the trip, and after we set out to prepare cirebon to use the car, I'll be the driver because my father could not drive a car, along the way we saw a very beautiful view of the countryside, about 4 hours we got to the destination, and we were very happy because there the air is very cool and beautiful mountain scenery Ciremai , arriving there we met the grandmother and the grandmother was happy to see our arrival, we berjalanan there way into the river, rice fields, to climb a mountain, I climbed the mountain with my dad, we started the morning trip, but we did not reach the top because the father could not continue climbing. Our afternoons Ciremai down from the mountain, we arrived at our grandmother's house and then a short break. the next day we went back to Bandung because the father can not leave the job too long.

NATURAL PHENOMENON

Mammatus, also known as mammatocumulus (meaning "mammary cloud" or "breast cloud"),is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. The name mammatus is derived from the Latin mamma (meaning "udder" or "breast").

Characteristics

Mammatus are most often associated with the anvil cloud and also severe thunderstorms. They often extend from the base of acumulonimbus, but may also be found under altocumulus, altostratus,stratocumulus, and cirrus clouds, as well as volcanic ash clouds. In the United States, sky gazers may be most familiar with the very distinct and more common cumulonimbus mammatus. When occurring in cumulonimbus, mammatus are often indicative of a particularly strong storm or maybe even a tornadic storm. Due to the intensely sheared environment in which mammatus form, aviators are strongly cautioned to avoid cumulonimbus with mammatus.

Mammatus may appear as smooth, ragged or lumpy lobes and may be opaque or translucent. Because mammatus occur as a grouping of lobes, the way they clump together can vary from an isolated cluster to a field of mammae that spread over hundreds of kilometers to being organized along a line, and may be composed of unequal or similarly-sized lobes. The individual mammatus lobe average diameters of 1–3 km and lengths on average of 0.5 km. A lobe can last an average of 10 minutes, but a whole cluster of mamma can range from 15 minutes to a few hours. They usually are composed of ice, but also can be a mixture of ice and liquid water or be composed of almost entirely liquid water.

True to their ominous appearance, mammatus clouds are often harbingers of a coming storm or other extreme weather system. Typically composed primarily of ice, they can extend for hundreds of miles in each direction and individual formations can remain visibly static for ten to fifteen minutes at a time. While they may appear foreboding they are merely the messengers - appearing around, before or even after severe weather.

Riding Bycycle to School

I agree with the mayor of London who ride bicycles to school campaign. But there are some things you should consider

First, when students have to use a bicycle to school. They will feel tired because live far from school. If they are tired they will not concentrate while studying and going to get bad grades.

Secondly, dangerous riding a bike to school because it was not safe for school children do not have a turn signal, and does not have a security system for the rider.

Third, some people think the bike is more cost effective. but for the school children mengguras enough power for most power in use for cycling to school and when they will be exhausted and not concentrate on studies.

cycling could be a good choice, but we also need to know what are the bad factors, the mayor should improve and expand public transportation so that people can use public transport duo into the vehicle daily.
